ASUWB Student Government Elections

NOTE: While the ASUWB 2022 Elections have ended, starting Fall 2022 you can reach out to the Elections Committee chair (asuwbpar@uw.edu) for opportunities to be involved with the 2023 Elections Committee.

Below is the historical information that, while subject to change, can offer interested students a place to start researching ASUWB Elections.

Make your voice heard – vote for your student government

All UW Bothell students registered as a part of the Associated Students of the University of Washington Bothell (ASUWB) can cast a vote in the ASUWB Student Government elections.

Virtual Voting and in-person voting for the Spring 2022 elections opens Monday, May 2 at 9:00 AM and closes May 5 at 11:59 PM. Voting booths on campus are available near the Plaza and Codex (between the library and bookstore).

Voting requirements

Students must say “Yes” to being a part of ASUWB on the ballot. This is the equivalent of registering to vote.

Information about positions

Check out the Position Descriptions and Compensation Information to learn more about the paid positions you can campaign for. Review the Elections Policies and Procedures Packet for all candidate rules and policies.

While the standard application to run for an elected position has closed; it is still possible to run as a Write-in candidate! Fill out the Write-in Candidate Form and email the Elections Committee Chair Katie Ward at asuwbpar@uw.edu to officially state your intent to run.

The Spring 2022 Elections will take place both in person and online. Ensure you are following ASUWB’s social media pages for updates on elections, positions, voting, and results:

Report a violation from a candidate

If you believe someone has violated an Election related policy or procedure (see the Elections Policies and Procedures Packet) please submit a Complaint Form.

All violation allegations must be submitted through this form. Do not submit complaints via email.
