Health and Wellness Resource Center
Welcome to the HaWRC
The Health and Wellness Resource Center (HaWRC) is a one-stop hub connecting students with on-campus and community resources to help you thrive. Through a partnership with the United Way Benefits Hub, we provide resource connections, financial coaching, and public benefits enrollment. Our services also include peer health education, and referrals to off-campus wellness resources.
We serve both Cascadia College and UW Bothell (graduate and undergraduate) students!
Looking for additional wellness resources? The counseling center offers mental health services and resources, and the Violence, Prevention and Advocacy program addresses gender-based violence:
Office Hours
The HaWRC is open Monday – Thursday from 10am – 4pm. Fridays are by appointment only. If you need to access staff outside of these hours or on a Friday, please email hawrc@uw.edu.
The Husky Pantry
The UW Bothell Husky Pantry is located in the HaWRC in ARC 120. Please visit the Husky Pantry website for additional information about this student food resource, as well as additional food resource options. Cascadia student can visit the Kodiak Cave campus food pantry.
Basic Needs Assistance
Do you have questions about health and wellbeing, financial resources, basic needs access, or food security? Stop by the HaWRC during drop-in hours, Tuesdays 10am-12pm, or Wednesdays 2pm-4pm.
We’re hiring!
We are currently recruiting for a Benefits Hub Student Ambassador for the 2023-2024 school year (starting late fall quarter through end of spring quarter). As an AmeriCorps role, this position requires an average of 12-15 hour per week to reach 300 hours by end of June, and will assist students in finding basic needs supports.
