After 15 years of dedicated service to the University of Washington Bothell, Sean Marsh, associate vice chancellor for Alumni & Stakeholder Engagement, will be leaving the University to join Bellevue College as the vice president of Institutional Advancement and executive director of the Bellevue College Foundation. His last day at UW Bothell will be Nov. 2, 2025. As UW Bothell moves through this transition, the Advancement team will prepare to identify the next leader to continue this vital engagement work. In the meantime, our alumni team is available at uwbalumn@uw.edu.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since joining UW Bothell in 2010, Marsh held numerous roles across alumni relations and development, including serving as interim vice chancellor for Advancement from 2020 to 2022. Throughout his tenure, he has been a driving force in strengthening UW Bothell\u2019s connections with alumni, donors and the broader community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSean has been a tremendous contributor to UW Bothell\u2019s growth over the years,\u201d said Rebecca Ehrlichman Blume, vice chancellor for Advancement. \u201cHe truly embodies the best of UW Bothell \u2014 always keeping our students and alumni front and center, leading with heart, and approaching every challenge with boundless optimism and resilience.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marsh reflected on his 15-year journey with deep appreciation. \u201cI have had the privilege of working alongside exceptional colleagues, amazing donors and alumni, and incredible leadership,\u201d he said. \u201cThe relationships I have built and the initiatives we have accomplished together have been among the most fulfilling aspects of my career. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I have been given to contribute to the institution\u2019s mission and growth.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Marsh, UW Bothell has been far more than a workplace. \u201cUW Bothell has been a community that shaped who I am professionally and personally,\u201d he shared. \u201cI\u2019ve made lifelong friends here, people who have made me the person I am today. I\u2019m genuinely sad to leave the people and place that have meant so much to me.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
