Transfer Students

There are so many details involved in transferring from one institution to another. Before you dive into that process, visit campus to test the waters. Our admission advisors can help you get your feet wet and suggest an academic plan that will prevent you from getting in over your head.

Campus Visits

Campus visits provide you with a general overview of our academic programs, student support services, and the application process. After the information session, you will go on a walking tour of campus where you will see classrooms, science labs, student life facilities, and more! Tours are led by current students who will provide you with an “insider’s” point of view; student tour guides are happy to answer any questions you may have about becoming a future Husky.

Advising Appointments

We are happy to meet with you for an advising appointment with your assigned Transfer Admissions Advisor. During this appointment, we will review your transcripts, discuss your intended program and goals, and review the application process.

In addition, our office also has Walk-In Advising available between 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm (the last appointment for the day is at 3:30pm) every Monday-Friday (except holidays). Walk-in advising is best suited for students with quick questions and immediate needs.

Walk-in appointments cannot be guaranteed, but based on staff availability, will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Virtual Info Sessions

If you are not able to make it to our campus for an information session, this is a great opportunity to learn more about the University of Washington Bothell.

Our virtual information sessions provide you with the same general overview of our academic programs, student support services, and the application process that we give in our on-campus sessions.
