Question: What do you hope to do when you graduate?
Answer: "After I graduate, I would love to go back to my home country and give back to the people that are currently poverty stricken. I know I am not a cure to all the problems; I just want to leave my mark in the annals of humanitarian work!"

Answer: "
I speak three languages fluently – Somali, Swahili and English."

Question: If you could have dinner with one person alive or dead, who would it be?
Answer: "
It would be Nelson Mandela. Having been in prison for 27 years, he didn’t seek revenge, instead he managed to move forward and build the prosperous South Africa, which we all cherish."
Question: Why did you choose UWB?
Answer: "At first I was intrigued by the small class sizes, but after taking a tour and realizing how friendly and helpful everyone was, I knew that this is where I wanted to attend college."
Question: What do you like about UWB?
Answer: "
I like every single thin[g] about UW Bothell but the sports field is by far the best thing."
Question: What surprised you about UWB?
Answer: "
What surprised me the most was how professors can quickly remember your name. UW Bothell faculty members care a lot about each individual student."
Question: What is your favorite thing to do at UWB?
Answer: "My favorite things about UW Bothell are getting to know my professors and how easygoing people are."
Question: How are you involved on the campus?
Answer: "
I am a captain of the coed soccer club, actively involved in International Student Facilitators, and a member of Husky Packs, DECA, Junior Senator and Dream Project. These affiliations allow me to work and volunteer while going to school strengthening me as a person but also developing my ability to manage and organize my time and skills effectively."
Question: What advice would you give a high school student about going to college?
Answer: "Work hard, manage your time wisely, avoid procrastination, make a lot of friends in class, and talk to your professors if you need help."
