Favorite Movies: “Across the Universe” – I love their renditions of the Beatles’ songs!
Favorite TV Shows: Reality TV is my guilty pleasure, and I will watch just about any of it. From “Real World” to “Vanderpump Rules,” it’s all horrible and amazing at the same time.
Favorite Books: Harry Potter hands down – I used to reread the series every summer and it never gets old!
Favorite Sports Team: Have to root for our home teams – Seahawks and Mariners!
“You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.”
Favorite Restaurant in Bothell: Beardslee Public House – they have great fries and is just a short walk from campus!
Favorite College Experience: My college experience was great because Bellingham is great! I miss the amazing food and absurdly windy days. I always make a point to go back up and visit every year!
Favorite WA Activity: Walking around Greenlake on a sunny summer day – nothing beats the PNW in the summer!
Main Attraction at UW Bothell: The ARC is amazing – they even have a video game alcove!
Advice for Transfer Students: Get involved! Whether you join a club, volunteer, or find a job on campus, there’s always a fun way to get involved at UW Bothell! It’s a great way to meet new people, become a part of the UW Bothell community, and help you boost your resume for that future dream job.
Fun Fact: I was an intern at a luxury handbag factory in Florence, Italy. I learned a lot of Italian and was able to see some pretty amazing (and expensive!) purses (some made out of alligator and snake skin!).
