Hometown: Spokane, WA

Education: North Central High School in Spokane, B.A. in Psychology and Theater Arts from Gonzaga University, M.Ed. in Student Development Administration from Seattle University

Favorite Movie: "Miss Congeniality" (underrated Sandra Bullock masterpiece)

Favorite TV Shows: "RuPaul’s Drag Race.” Just watch it and you will know how iconic this show is. I love any reality competition series including, but not limited to, "Big Brother," "Survivor," "Face Off," "Dancing with the Stars," ect. I also love anime, specifically "Case Closed," "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood," and "Pokémon."

Favorite Books: I don’t read for fun. Does that make me a horrible person? Of all the books I was made to read in high school, “Catcher in the Rye” was my favorite.

Favorite Sports Team: I’m originally from California, so I have to respect my father’s wishes and root for the Oakland A’s. For hockey, my loyalty is to my best friend Kyle and the Los Angeles Kings.

Favorite College Experience: I was in a theater production of “Noises Off!” and it was an absolute mess of fun and joy. I also participated in an improvisation team known as "GUTS" and I loved making people laugh.

Favorite WA Activity: Walking around Green Lake and playing Pokémon Go during the game’s “Community Day” and getting In-N-Out afterwards. Just kidding they don’t have In-N-Out in Washington but I am holding out hope!

Main Attraction at UW Bothell: The staff and faculty you’ll meet here are just fantastic, truly some of the most wonderful people I have ever met. I am lucky to be a part of this team.

Advice for High School Students: My mother always told me that everything happens for a reason, and she is 100% right. Take the negative experiences and try to find the lesson and the light in its meaning. It’ll help you overcome some of the greatest obstacles.

Fun FactI worked at a movie theater for 10 years! I won employee of the month 5 times in my career, which is 5 out of 120 months, meaning I was the best employee 4.2% of the time I was there. Not bad I say! And yes, I still eat popcorn.
