Advice for Transfer Students: Spend a healthy amount of time thinking about what you would like to do in your future career, and if you can, shadow someone in the field; it is extremely insightful. Plan for the future and take opportunities to meet with advisors at every point in your education. Ask questions in high school, community colleges, and four year universities that you plan to apply to or attend. Finally, complete an internship as an undergraduate student. It will give you an opportunity to get experience, get an insider's perspective on a company within your field, and it may lead to a job offer upon graduation.

Fun Fact: I love horses and spent 4 years as an equestrian jumper.
