I spent 21 years in the workplace, ten with the same company, before getting my lay-off letter in 2006. I felt this could be the last opportunity to finish my degree. The first half of my higher education took place at St. Petersburg Junior College in Clearwater, Florida. Imagine my surprise when every credit was accepted from my dusty old 1985 Associate of Arts in Business degree. In September 2006, I signed up for classes towards an Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences degree.
Having spent six years as a web content writer and editor at my last company, writing for various assignment requirements has been a challenge. I have found that revising any paper always makes it better. For this reason I get started early, and revise at my leisure. As a Writing Consultant, I think my ability to listen and provide feedback will be of greatest help for writers.
