About the website
The UW Bothell website is run on Kentico, a content management system (CMS).
UW Bothell has been using Kentico since 2009.
The website exceeds 9,000 pages.
The website is supported by six professional staff, one student assistant, and approximately 200 departmental web publishers.
Kentico is supported by multiple teams across campus and your needs determine which group you work with.

Website Project Requests
An overview of Kentico, supporting documentation, and video tutorials are available on the documentation page.
Access to edit pages are granted by individuals with Primary Publisher permissions and access is granted to the whole directory, not to an individual webpage.
See the CMS Access request page for information on how to request editing permissions in Kentico. Users must have a UWB Access Account (UWBID) in order to request access. UWBIDs are different from NetIDs.

All Kentico users are required to attend a Kentico training session. Please do not make major edits to your site until you have completed the training.

Advancement & External Relations has created several forms to help make it easier for UW Bothell Faculty, Staff, and Student Staff to request some of our services related to the UW Bothell website, calendar, and marketing.
New Form Request
Forms are helpful if people request services from your team or you want to collect contact information/feedback. Forms keep metrics and you can export the data into an Excel spreadsheet to review work completed over any amount of time.

Any Kentico website changes such as a request for a new website, restructuring site navigation, page content redesigns, requesting Trumba events to be added to your page, and more. The majority of requests received come through this form. Typical turn-around time varies per request and current project load. Please inform us of any deadlines.
