Kentico CMS is software that allows a person without any programming knowledge to create a robust, easy to use, and current website.

Content editors maintain their website by adding content, images and other features that are already designed and available for use.

Using Kentico, University of Washington Bothell staff and faculty are able to edit their online content directly, without contacting the University's professional web staff.

Presently, UW Bothell uses Kentico CMS Version 7.

What is a CMS?

A CMS (Content Management System) is designed to simplify the publication of web content to a websites. It allows content creators and editors to submit content without requiring technical knowledge such as HTML, CSS, design principles, and accessibility requirements.


 New Account Request

If you are a new user and you have a UW Bothell account, you will need to contact Information Technologies (IT) at 425.352.3546 or email it@uwb.edu to request access. Please include the directory of the website you need to gain access to.

Logging In

To log in, go to the CMS login page: http://www.uwb.edu/cmsdesk, and use your full email address (i.e. gwashington@uwb.edu) and password.
