Email Notification

E-Mail Notification

To receive an email every time someone submits the form, click on the "Notification e-mail" tab in the BizForms.

  1. Check "Send form data to E-mail"
  2. From e-mail: This is the email address from which your email notification will appear to be from.
    1. If your form has already been completed and asks for a user's email address, type {%email%} This will make it seem that the sender of the email is the person that submitted the form.
    2. If your form has already been completed but does not ask for the user's email address, type in your email address.
    3. If your form has not yet been created, type in your UW Bothell email address.
    4. To e-mail: This is the e-mail address if the recipient of the form data.
  3. Subject: This will be the subject of the email sent out. Example: "Form Submission"
  4. Please disregard the "Attach uploaded documents" and "Use custom layout" options.
  5. Click Save.
