General Student Employment Information:


  • When classes are in session, students may not work more than 19.5 hours per week for all student positions.  Students may hold multiple positions, but will need to split hours to not exceed the 19.5 hour limit.
  • Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least 6 credits during quarters of employment.* 
  • Graduate students must be enrolled in at least 4 credits during quarters of employment.*
  • Positions may be paid hourly, or via stipend, depending on the department.  Minimum wage for student employees is $15/hr.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to completed the required employment eligibility verification document upon hire.
  • Please read positions descriptions carefully, as some may vary in requirements for student enrollment status, GPA, available hours, and work study status.
