Merit Scholarships, Fellowships and Awards is an area within Student Services created to develop the Chancellor’s initiative to promote competitive, merit-based scholarship opportunities on the Bothell campus and mentor qualified students through the application process.
Working in close collaboration with Financial Aid, the Career Center, Undergraduate Research, CUSP, and the Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships and Awards on the Seattle campus, we offer general scholarship information sessions and conduct one-on-one advising with students applying for competitive, merit-based awards. Check our list of upcoming events.
Until recently, my post-graduate future was severely limited by what I did not know. Since working with Natalia in the Merit Scholarships Office, I now see a world of challenging opportunities available to me. For those who are not completely sure about next steps, but willing to challenge themselves, I would strongly recommend making an appointment with Natalia to explore exciting domestic and international programs."

Are merit scholarships for me?
Merit scholarships, fellowships and awards invest in your future potential based on your past accomplishments. They are granted on the basis of your academic performance and extracurricular achievements, and can include funding for college tuition and fees, study abroad, summer internships, and post-graduate research or travel. If you are a strong student with a GPA of 3.3 or higher, are actively engaged on- and off-campus, and have the ambition to do great things in life, consider merit scholarships to help you reach your goals!
