Woodinville Rotary Club Computing & Software Systems Scholarship

Rotary is an international organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. In more than 166 countries worldwide, approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 31,000 Rotary clubs. Woodinville Rotary Club was established in 1987 and is an active supporter of the Northshore Scholarship Foundation, providing annual scholarships in each of the University of Washington-Bothell degree-granting programs.

Purpose

The Woodinville Rotary Club Bachelor of Science in Computing and Software Systems Scholarship is offered to provide tuition assistance to a University of Washington, Bothell (UWB) student enrolled in the CSS Program who:

• demonstrates outstanding academic performance,
• demonstrates outstanding commitment to the CSS profession,
• demonstrates a strong commitment to service in the community and to others,
• has financial need (if applicable).

Eligibility

• Upper division undergraduate students who are enrolled, or planning to enroll, in the UWB in a CSS program full-time for fall, winter, and spring quarters 2007/2008.
• Students who are not members of, or related to a member of, the Woodinville Rotary Club.
• Is a U.S. citizen and resident of Washington State

Notification

Applicants will be notified four to six weeks after the deadline and award recipients will be posted on the UWB scholarship web page http://www.uwb.edu/students/finaid/scholarships/.
