Each year we offer general scholarships graciously endowed from individuals, organizations, UW Bothell alumni, businesses, and associations. These scholarships are available to students enrolled at UW Bothell. We have two applications per year:
- UWB General Scholarship (awarded for autumn -- spring quarters)
- UWB Winter & Spring General Scholarship (awarded for winter and spring quarters)

Be Ready
It is critical that applicants be aware of deadlines. Most scholarships have deadlines 6 to 9 months before Autumn Quarter. Start your search early (12 to 18 months prior to needed funds) and follow through on due dates. You do not need to wait until you are admitted into your program of study to apply for most scholarships.
A Variety of Sources
There are many sources of information for scholarships and other funding opportunities. Each student must research the scholarships available and find those that best match their skills, experience, interests, and goals. Many resources are designed to help students identify which scholarships best match their qualifications; there are several private scholarship search sites that can assist you with this task.
UW Scholarship News
University of Washington Service Employee Opportunity Scholarship New!
The Service Employee Opportunity Scholarship recognizes the contributions of service employees to the well-being of the University of Washington. It offers UW scholarships to service employees and their family members. If you are a food service, laundry, or custodial employee with at least five years of service to any UW location, you or a member of your family can apply for this scholarship for use at all UW campuses. The deadline for application is June 1, 2009. Download the application here.
