Card Writing - Seattle Children's Hospital
Mobius Hall, UWB/CCC Campus - Throughout Day
This project involves creating cards for children at Seattle Children's Hospital. These cards will be sent to the hospital and put on the children's food trays during meal times at the hospital. Volunteers will be working in Mobius Hall throughout the day on this project.

Litter Cleanup and Yard Work - ASUWB's Bothell on the Hill
Beardslee Neighborhood, Bothell - 9:30am-12:00pm
The ‘Bothell on the Hill’ program encourages a strong "town-gown" relationship built by students and community members. This MLK Day of Service, the Bothell on the Hill program will focus on the neighborhood west of UW Bothell that borders UWB, Beardslee BLVD, and Kaysner Way. Those involved with this project will do a neighborhood litter sweep and limited yard work.

Removal of Invasive Plants - Friends of North Creek Forest
North Creek Heights, Bothell - 9:30am-12pm
Volunteers will be helping remove English Holly from the North Creek Forest to support healthy forest growth.

Bowling with Children with Disabilities - Miracle League
Brunswick Lanes, Lynnwood - 10am-11am
Bowling with children with disabilities at Brunswick Majestic Lanes in Lynnwood from 10am-11am on Saturday January 19th. 13 volunteers needed. This is part of Miracle League, a national organization which provides sports and recreation opportunities for disabled children.

Sorting and Organizing Donated Clothing - Threads and Treads
Canyon Park Junior High, Bothell - 9:30am-12pm
Support Threads and Treads, a program that provides middle and high school students with school clothes and shoes. Volunteers will either help families look through the selections or sort the clothes for wear-ability.

Repair and Maintenance Projects - Northshore Senior Center
Northshore Senior Center, Bothell - 9:30am-12pm
Volunteers will help the staff tackle landscaping and outdoor repair jobs, as well as painting, organizing, cleaning, and repairs inside.

Cleaning and Organizing - Riverside East Retirement Home
Riverside East Retirement Home, Bothell - 9:30am-12pm
Volunteers will help staff clean wheel chairs, paint, and organize closets.

Plant Removal along Trail - City of Bothell Public Works
Sammamish River Trail, Bothell - 9:30am-12pm
Some past restoration projects are in need of maintenance. Blackberries need to be clipped and piled on site and a huge patch of reed canary grass needs to be stomped down around the planted live stakes.

Watershed Outreach - City of Bothell Public Works
Perry Creek Neighborhood, Bothell - 9:30am-12pm
Pass out door hangers in a local Bothell neighborhood to educate residents about their local streams. Most people know about the larger creeks and rivers in Bothell, but many are unaware fo the small tributaries that flow right near their home. These door hangers will have residents' watershed address and important water quality information.

Collecting and Sorting Food - Greater Bothell Parent Resource Center
Local Grocery Stores and Mobius Hall, Bothell - 9:30am-12pm
This project involves going to grocery stores in small groups around the Bothell area to collect food for the Greater Bothell Parent Resource Center. The food collected will be brought to Mobius Hall and put into bags for distribution. The Greater Bothell Parent Resource Center is an agency dedicated to serving at risk families, individuals, and youth through counseling, parenting workshops, life skills training, and community resources.
