The Student Assistants are a group of students who serve as the front-line resource for students seeking involvement on campus. The Student Life desk is located in the Lower Level Vista of UW1. Student Assistants are available at this location five days a week to answer questions about all Student Life inquiries including events on campus, starting new clubs, and making appointments with ASUWB, CEB, and Student Life staff.
Jamila is a Senior majoring in Community Psychology with a minor in Education. She plans on becoming a School Counselor where she can empower minority and low income students into higher education. She wants to use her experience here on campus to create support services that cater to student's needs, helping them make their passions and dreams into realities. On top of being a student assistant Jamila is also involved in Tau Sigma as Vice President of Philanthropy and Services as well as a mentor at Explorer Middle School. Outside of work, she enjoys playing video games, cooking, dancing, music, and hanging out with loved ones.
Monica is a Junior majoring in Society, Ethics and Human Behavior. Along with her role as a student assistant, Monica is also involved in the Latino Student Union (LSU) which is a new club that was started in Spring Quarter of 2012. In her free time she enjoys bike riding and camping as well as visiting famliy and sharing a few laughs with them.
Chynna is a Senior majoring in Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration. Aside from being an SA she also works part time at the Seattle Premuim Outlets as a Sales Associate in Ralph Lauren. Her hobbies outside of school are reading, browsing through FlipBook, going out to eat, shopping and working out.
Jodi St. George
Jodi is a Junior who is currently studying in the Business Administration Program here at UWB. She plans on double concentrating in Marketing and Management. Some of her favorite things include Harrry Potter, Hello Kitty, foreign music, shopping, studying Cantonese, and meeting new Huskies! Jodi looks forward to her opportunities as a Student Leader this year as a Student Assistant, SAF Committee member and ASUWB Director of Public Relations and aspires to leave a lasting impact on our campus and our students with these roles.
Lindsie is a junior currently pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences with a focus on Society, Ethics and Human Behavior. As a Marketing Assistant, she collaborates with the various programming boards as well as the student clubs and organizations on campus to create and promote marketing to the larger student body. In her free time, Lindsie enjoys being outdoors, participating in dance-fitness classes and spending time with family and friends.
