Founded in fall 2014, Social Justice Organizers are student leaders dedicated to creating and promoting a campus climate and culture that respects and celebrates diversity. We are committed to educational programs and events that foster awareness and understanding of race, gender, sexuality, ability, social justice, power and privilege, student voice, and much more.
Ongoing programs from SJO and our founding group, Diversity Programmers, include Dine-n-Dialogue discussion series, film screenings, advocacy workshops, heritage month programs, Indigenous Peoples' Day, Cross-Cultural Engagement Retreat, Safe Space, and much more. We are also happy to collaborate to develop new programs across campus!
Facilitation and programming documents are freely available at our OrgSync page under the Files tab. A lending library and one computer are available for student use in IDEA Project.
