Volunteering and Civic Engagement

Student Engagement and Activities partners with Community-Based Learning and Research to organize Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service and Alternative Spring Break. These service opportunities are led by Achieving Community Transformation (ACT) members. This is a great way to meet fellow students while giving back to local communities.

Join UW Bothell and Cascadia College in honoring the legacy of Dr. King through volunteering in the community. This event is sponsored by Achieving Community Transformation (ACT), ASUWB, Cascadia Student Government, Cascadia College Student Life, UW Bothell Student Engagement and Activites, and UW Bothell Community-Based Learning & Research.

Please visit the MLK Day of Service website for more information.

Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is a student led initiative that gives students the opportunity to take part in educational service projects during their scheduled spring break.  The ASB program encourages active citizenship by providing service opportunities to address community issues.
