UCEA 2011 Presentation
The Leadership Pathways Design
To celebrate the impact of Agenda for Education in a Democracy and the National Network for Educational Renewal, the Goodlad Institute sponsored a display of books from settings and leadership associates at the 2009 NNER conference. The “literary café" allowed attendees to browse through books that have resulted from the NNER’s work and get better acquainted with colleagues’ scholarship. As a complete display of over 100 published books , the literary café provided impressive evidence of the productivity of NNER partnerships and the outcomes that funding agencies have realized from their investments in the NNER’s work.

2010 Literary Café
We are excited to host the literary café again at the NNER's 2010 conferece, "Realizing the Democratic Ideal." This year we have added a forum to meet the authors, a casual “literary café coffee talk” on Saturday morning before conference sessions begin. Author participation in the coffee talk is optional but greatly encouraged.
NNER settings received an invitation in August to to submit books for the café and we are looking forward to adding new titles to the collection. The 2010 literary café book list will maintained here and updated bi-weekly to reflect the newest book submissions for this year's conference.
