Enrollment Verification

The Office of the University Registrar generates enrollment verification certificates through the National Student Clearinghouse.

Degree Certification

The Office of the University Registrar generates Degree Certifications through the National Student Clearinghouse.

For Students: (Current Quarter Enrollment Verification)

Current (and some former) University of Washington students download the free, electronic enrollment verification instantly via the National Student Clearinghouse after logging into MyUW with a UW NetId.

If you believe that enrollment verification certificate you have downloaded from the National Student Clearinghouse does not contain sufficient information for the entity requesting proof of enrollment, you must email the UW Bothell Office of the Registrar at uwbreg@uw.edu. Please be sure to include:
  • The National Student Clearinghouse Enrollment Verification Certificate you downloaded through the link at MyUW.
  • A statement as to why this form is not sufficient for the entity requiring proof of enrollment
  • Completed Enrollment Verification form

For Students: (Future Quarter Certificate of Registration)

The University of Washington only officially verifies enrollment through the National Student Clearinghouse once the quarter has begun. If you require a letter for scholarship or loan purposes to show that you are enrolled for a quarter that has not yet started, as long as you have already registered for courses for that future quarter, you may receive a Certification of Registration. This will show that you are pre-registered for a future quarter at UW. To receive this certification, email the completed form to the UW Bothell Office of the Registrar at uwbreg@uw.edu to receive one. Please be sure to include:
