Fitness Center Policies

The ARC Fitness Center is restricted for use by currently enrolled University of Washington Bothell students, Cascadia College students, faculty and staff from both campuses with the purchase of a Fitness Pass, and other University-authorized groups. No other individuals are permitted.

Individuals must carry University-approved identification cards at all times. Notice issued pursuant to Washington Administrative Code UWB/CC facilities - WAC 478-137 (UWB) and WAC 132Z-141 (CC) Trespass laws will be enforced.

Please be advised that the Fitness Center is not supervised. By entering the Center, you agree to use the premises and equipment at your own risk. As with any exercise program, you are advised to consult an appropriate medical professional prior to using any of the Fitness Center's equipment and/or programs.

University of Washington Bothell and Cascadia College shall not be held liable for any damages or personal injuries sustained in the use of the exercise equipment. If you are unfamiliar with the equipment, refrain from using it until you have received proper instruction.

  • Shirts and closed-toe athletic shoes are required at all times
  • Food, gum, smoking, and tobacco products are not permitted in the facility
  • Free weights must be re-racked after using them
  • Free weights may not be removed from facility unless prior approval is granted
  • Cardio equipment is to be wiped down following each use
  • No pets
  • No bags in Fitness Center - lockers are available for check out
