Does UW Bothell have a Teacher Professional Certification Program?

UW Bothell has a Teacher Professional Certification Program for teachers who can complete the Pro Cert requirements before August 31, 2011. Teachers must apply for spring and enroll in BEDUC 542 Pre-Assessment Seminar in Spring Quarter 2010.

When am I allowed to begin my Teacher Professional Certification Program?

To be admitted to a Professional Certificate program, you must hold a contract as a teacher in a public or approved private school or a state agency which provides educational services to students for a minimum of 1.5 years.

Will UW Bothell have a Pro Cert Program after the State External Assessment is required?

The UW Bothell Pro Cert Program will become a ProTeach Support Program in Spring Quarter 2011, offering courses to help candidates learn the requirements of the state assessment and write portfolio entries. Applications for the ProTeach Support Program should be received by February 15, 2011.
