The Academic Transition Program (ATP), a year-long academic preparation program, provides its students on-going support, advice, and assistance through its mentoring services.
Through ATP Mentoring Services, students are paired with a faculty or staff member who will help them navigate college life, connect them with campus resources, and provide them with other essential support. Services include support in achieving educational goals, navigation to resources to assist in personal and career development, and assistance in adjustment to college life.
ATP mentors will connect with ATP students at an initial "Meet & Greet," and will meet individually with students at least three times each quarter. Additionally, mentors will check in (outside of scheduled meetings) at least twice each month.
