Campus Housing Move-In

Move-in Day means the halls are open and residents are settling into their
new homes. Staff and student leaders will be on hand to help residents
carry items, answer questions, and welcome them to UW Bothell. Please
make sure to come during your scheduled check-in time.

Husky Adventure: Kayaking the San Juan Islands

6:00 AM – 9:00 PM

We will spend the day kayaking through the waters of the San Juan Islands with a break for lunch. At 5:00 pm we will return to the Friday Harbor terminal to catch the ferry back to Anacortes. From Anacortes we will take vans back to campus. This is a great opportunity to spend time with other UWB first year and transfer students while exploring the San Juan Islands.

We will spend our day hiking through the majestic Discovery Park, with a break for lunch. Situated on Magnolia Bluff overlooking Puget Sound, Discovery Park offers spectacular views of both the Cascade and the Olympic Mountain ranges. The park includes two miles of protected tidal beaches as well as open meadow lands, dramatic sea cliffs, forest groves, active sand dunes, thickets and streams. Salsa isn’t just a dip these days! Join us Friday night for some shaking, shimmying, and sliding through Century Ballroom. This beautiful ballroom is favored Seattle dance spot, founded in 1997. The Century Ballroom aims to promote all kinds of dancing through its various classes and events, all taking place in the elegant hall. The evening will begin with an hour long lesson is basic Salsa steps, with plenty of time to
practice. Dancers of all levels are encouraged to join!
Following the lesson will be an evening filled with the rhythm
