Hey Huskies!
My name is Sydney Hall and I am beyond excited to be one of your 2016-2017 Orientation Leaders! I am committed to making all incoming students feel welcome, comfortable, and included here at UWB.
I am headed into my junior year here at UW Bothell and plan to major in Community Psychology through the Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences program, as well as minor in Education & Society, in hopes of pursuing a career in School Counseling. I transferred from Western Washington University winter quarter of 2016 and absolutely love UWB! The group oriented work, smaller class sizes, and many involvement opportunities on campus are only a few of the aspects I really appreciate about UWB. Although I am relatively new to campus, being involved has really helped me feel at home here. I am involved in Community Based Learning and Research, which has provided me with volunteer opportunities around the community. I am also a member of the Tau Sigma National Honor Society for transfer students! I grew up in Mukilteo and still reside there. Outside of school I spend a lot of my time with my friends and family. Most of the time you can find me enjoying a good book or working on my writing at my favorite coffee shop.
I can’t wait to meet all of you this summer and show you all of the opportunities UWB has to offer!
