Hi, my name is Duha Mohamed and I am a freshman here at UW Bothell. Currently I am majoring in Law Economics and Public Policy and planning to minor in Ethnic Studies. With this degree I plan on going to law school and hopefully make a small difference in the world. I was born in Khartoum, Sudan but moved to the states when I was a year old. On campus I am usually hanging out in the ARC enjoying the food trucks, at the gym or going to Muslim Student Association meetings. Something that I appreciate about UW Bothell is its size. It might seem small at first, but once you are amerced into the college life here you’ll find a lot to do. Also there is a strong sense of community, family and identity here that comes from being a small school. Something I wish I knew as a freshman would be all the job opportunities that were available to me and how I could that application process as early as possible.
