When is Check-in and Checkout?
Housing check-in begins at 9:00am, Thursday at Husky Village. Check-in for orientation will be at the North Creek Events Center starting at 9:00am and the program begins promptly at 10:00am. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to check-in to your room so that you can be on time to orientation. You must check-out by 3:00pm Friday. The orientation program concludes at 2:30pm Friday. You should have plenty of time to check out of your housing after the orientation program concludes.
 
What is included in each night stay?
Breakfast

Parking
Shared apartment stay with 2-3 other students
*Please keep in mind that Internet and Television are not included.
 
Can I extend my stay for a day before or a day after?
Yes. When you register for orientation, you can choose to add the night before orientation and the night that orientation concludes. If you have already registered, you can add an overnight stay by going to: http://depts.washington.edu/uwbotp/registration/. There is no refund for canceled or unused Early Arrival and/or Late Departure nights after the reservation deadline date. To reserve extended stay housing you must reserve consecutive nights.
 
How do I cancel or remove an Overnight Housing Orientation stay?
You must cancel your overnight housing registration no later than two weeks before your oreintation session. Students will be charged the $50 per-night fee if they do not cancel at least two weeks prior to their session. To cancel or remove an overnight stay, you can edit your reservation by going to http://depts.washington.edu/uwbotp/registration/ and updating your reservation.
 
What should I bring with me?
Alarm Clock
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Comfortable clothes
Soap
Everyday amenities (ex: Tylenol, allergy medication, Band-Aids, deodorant, etc.)
 
Can I choose my roommate?
Orientation is an opportunity to take advantage of meeting new people. Accommodations cannot be guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate students if they check-in together.
 
If I arrive before check-in, what are my instructions?
If you would like to check-in to your room before 8:00am, you need to reserve housing for the night before.
 
Who do I contact if the Community Center is closed at Husky Village?
Husky Village community center hours is yet to be dermined (check back soon). If you arrive after the community center is closed, contact the on duty Resident Advisor: 206-245-5536.
 
What are the housing policies?
Students staying in housing are subject to the community standards of the university and campus housing as well as the student conduct code. Can my parents stay with me in my room?
