Orientation & Transition Programs at UW Bothell offers incoming students multiple ways to begin their university journey. Its award-winning Husky Leadership Camp (HLC) is one such choice that uses leadership as an organizing concept to bring together students from all backgrounds before they begin their courses in the fall. Many UW Bothell students are the first in their families to attend college. Organizations like the First Generation Network at UW Bothell are helping students persist as they navigate college. First-gen students from UW Bothell graduate at the rate of 59 percent, well above the national average.

First year UW Bothell STEM students recorded their own myth-busting videos and presented them on a big Imax screen at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle.
