Eleanor Wort

Hello fellow Huskies! My name is Eleanor Wort and I will be a junior at UW Bothell in the fall of 2013. I am a transfer student from WSU but my past year at UWB has been one of the best in my life! I am originally from London, England but have lived in Kirkland for the past 13 years. In high school I was on the cheerleading squad which helped make me the outgoing person I am today and I was also very involved with leadership classes and activities. I currently hold down two jobs as well as attend school full time, but of course school always comes first! During the summer I love partaking in all kinds of water sports and love going to the beach. During the winter I love to go skiing and play in the snow whenever I have an opportunity! I enjoy being a UWB student for many different reasons but a few specific ones would be the small class sizes, friendly professors, welcoming student body, and ample opportunities to become involved on campus. These unique characteristics of this beautiful campus are why I chose to become an Orientation Leader. I had a fantastic experience transferring into the campus and want to help others have as easy of a transition as I did. I love this campus and am passionate about helping others find their place within UWB! I am extremely excited to meet all of the incoming Huskies this summer! Go Dawgs!
