Nursing and Health Studies Program

RN-to-BSN Required non-Nursing Electives

Non-Nursing Electives

15 credits of non-Nursing (non- B NURS) elective courses are required of all Nursing students for the BSN degree.  All 15 credits must be taken from courses taught through UW Bothell.

Non-Nursing Elective classes must be 300-400 level courses.  Five credits of electives are required to be a B HLTH course,  and the other ten credits may be from any Program at UW Bothell (including B HLTH).  The only 300-400 level classes at UW Bothell that are inelligible to count as electives are classes in the B NURS, BISSKL, or BBSKL areas, or any statistics course.

Current students who were admitted with any missing credits in the Visual, Literary, and Performing Arts (VLPA) General Education area  (refer to your Pink Sheet) should be choosing non-Nursing electives that also satisify the remaining credits of your VLPA requirement.  Your Advisor will help you choose the correct courses if you ever need assistance.
