Application Process
Current UW Bothell Students
Current UW Bothell students will apply by completing the Health Studies Application form with their CUSP advisor. For the 2013-2014 school year, applications will be accepted for admission for Fall 2013 only. Our priority deadline was April 15, 2013. However, we are still accepting applications for Fall 2013 and will remain open until full.
Prospective UW Bothell Students
Incoming students who have met the admission requirements will apply by completing the UW Bothell new student application and selecting Health Studies as their intended major. For the 2013-2014 school year, applications will be accepted for admission for Fall 2013 only. Our priority deadline was April 8, 2013. However, we are still accepting applications for Fall 2013 and will remain open until full.
Personal Statement Application Requirement
As part of the application process, all applicants will write a Personal Statement. The requirements for this statement are on the application form. Please follow the instructions carefully as the Personal Statement is a very important part of your application. The Admissions Committee is particularly interested to learn about your personal background and/or interests that have led you to decide that Health Studies is the right major for you.
Application Timeline
All applicants that applied by the priority deadlines will be reviewed for admission at the same time. We anticipate those admissions decisions will be communicated by early May. Current UWB students will be notified via email. Transfer applicants will receive their decisions by US mail so please allow some time for it to arrive.
If you applied after the priority deadlines, we will be reviewing files as they are completed. We anticipate the next round of admissions decisions to go out sometime in June.
