Health Studies Students Considering Graduate or Professional School

Course Planning for Health Studies Students Considering Graduate Study

For students considering medical school or any other kind of graduate school study, careful planning of your class schedule with your academic advisor from the first quarter of your freshman year forward is very important.  Graduate schools require a large number of admission prerequisites that frequently must be taken in sequence, and fitting those classes into your schedule along with your other course requirements requires great care and attention.   The number of electives required for the Health Studies major allows for flexibility in your planning process if you start early and continue working with your academic advisor throughout your time at UW Bothell.
