David Baure, RN, MN
David is a Seattle based nurse. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2007 and a Master of Nursing from University of Washington Bothell in 2013. David spent his early career as an acute care nurse working primarily in emergency departments around the Puget Sound region. He simultaneously served in the US Air Force as an Aeromedical Evacuation Flight Nurse then began teaching. David has taught clinical, lab, lecture courses for several community colleges before exploring global health nursing and education in Uganda Africa. David now works for Public Health- Seattle & King County with Communicable Disease, Epidemiology, and Immunization where he focuses on vaccine preventable disease projects. David is passionate about education and remains actively teaching at UW Bothell since graduating in 2013.
David’s scholarship has focused on improving clinical education for undergraduate nurses, role clarification, and student development. His work includes writing e-modules for the Washington State Nurses Association. David scholarship interests include population based health and strengthening communities around positive immunization promotion.
