A social justice approach to health literacy requires the critical thinking, writing and community engagement skills that are central to the mission of UW Bothell. The interdisciplinary faculty in the School of Nursing and Health Studies create unique educational approaches grounded in inclusive learning environments that are accessible, oriented to life-long learning and are based on the highest professional standards.
