Three University of Washington Bothell courses with a total of 50 students are engaged in community-based learning and research projects this summer with the Latino Educational Training Institute, a Lynnwood nonprofit that serves the Latino community in south Snohomish County.
Groups of new students are learning about college life and the UW Bothell campus this summer as the Office of Orientation & Transition welcomes about 750 to 800 first-year students and about the same number of transfers.
Allison Pace lived on campus, worked on campus and started a club. She said applying for the Husky 100 forced her to reflect on how she has been changed by all of her experiences at the University of Washington Bothell.
Aseem Datar, a leader in Microsoft’s fast-growing Azure cloud-computing platform, said his MBA experience at the University of Washington Bothell was uncomfortable, which is exactly what he wanted.
The new edition of Clamor, the University of Washington Bothell’s only professional-grade literary and arts journal, is hot off the press. All the work to publish the journal is done by students.
