Art in Public Spaces

The "Art in Public Spaces" (BSUSP 191) class taught by Dr. Deborah Caplow recently produced a set of four art boards to brighten the UWB 3 construction area. Students studied collaboration in art before splitting into groups to create their work. "Most of the students had never painted before," Caplow says. "We're hoping this will be the start of something."
Here are some images of the creative process. You can see the final artwork outside UW 1 hanging on the fence along the walkway.
