BOTHELL, Wash. – On August 17th the University of Washington Bothell’s Center for Serious Play, DigiPen Institute of Technology and the College Success Foundation will host an all-day retreat for high school girls from around the state titled, “Girls, Games & Interactive Narrative: Innovation and Technology Are Not Just For the Boys.”
This exciting retreat will provide girls with the opportunity to learn what it takes to make it in the world of game design and development.
Guest speakers include Jordan Weisman, CEO & founder of Smith & Tinker, Kim Swift of Airtight Games, and Wanda Gregory, Director of the UW Bothell Center for Serious Play.
Participating high schools include Foss, Lincoln, Mt. Tahoma, Stadium, and Wilson, all of whom are from Tacoma, WA; and Davis and Eisenhower, from Yakima, WA.
