BOTHELL, Wash. – The Business Program at the University of Washington Bothell is pleased to announce Port of Seattle CEO Tay Yoshitani as keynote speaker for its MBA graduation ceremony.
“Our MBA graduates have emerged from a rigorous, nationally-ranked program,” says Business Program Director Sandeep Krishnamurthy. “We hold a special celebration at the end of each academic year to recognize the students’ successes and to send our graduates into the business world with a lasting message of inspiration. Tay Yoshitani is the perfect choice for just such an occasion.”
Mr. Yoshitani joined the Port of Seattle as its CEO in March 2007. Under Yoshitani’s leadership, the Port opened a new runway at Sea-Tac Airport, a new cruise facility at Smith Cove Cruise Terminal, and reopened Terminal 30 as a container facility.
A U.S. Army veteran, Yoshitani has a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and earned his MBA at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
The Business Program at UW Bothell holds its MBA graduation celebration on Saturday, June 11, 2011.
The University will hold its formal commencement exercises the following day at the Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion.
