BOTHELL, Wash. - The University of Washington Bothell will officially launch its Accounting Program on Thursday, April 23, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the North Creek Events Center. The public is invited to the free event.
The launch will feature an informational session followed by networking with business faculty and representatives from local CPA firms. Prospective students and their families are encouraged to attend.
The Accounting Program offers UW Bothell Business students the opportunity to graduate with a formal option in accounting. It prepares students for careers in private, government, non-profit and public accounting. Upon completion, students are eligible to take the Certified Management Accounting (CMA) exam, and, if they pursue the additional required hours, the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam.
The Program began accepting students in Fall 2008. Applications for Fall 2009 are being accepted on a space-available basis. For additional information on the launch or the Program, contact 425-352-5394 or visit http://www.uwb.edu/business.
