Undergraduate
The B.S. in Climate Science, Policy & Energy will integrate fundamental courses in the sciences with courses in policy to produce graduates who are ready to tackle one of the the issue of climate change. This program has two tracks: 1) a science track with a focus on advanced climate modeling, and 2) a policy track with a focus on advanced policy studies. Graduates of this program will be prepared for careers in government, private and non-profit sectors, and graduate programs in science and policy studies.

The B.S. in Electrical Engineering in Everett program will provide basic preparation for a wide range of careers in electrical engineering and related areas, or entry into graduate-level study. It will serve college transfer students at Everett Community College (EvCC) as well as other regional students in Snohomish County.

The B.A. in Health Studies will utilize a problem-based learning method to engage students with current public health issues. While teaching students the history of and ethics related to health issues, this program will help students develop the leadership skills necessary for working in a global environment. The Health Studies major will benefit the public/common good by educating students/citizens who prioritize the health of individuals, groups, countries, nations, and the world.

The B.A. in Interactive Media and Technology will combine science and technology with creative and entrepreneurial disciplines to prepare students to use digital media and technology in a wide variety of fields. Built upon an interdisciplinary foundation, this program will emphasize project-based coursework.

The BS in Mathematics will offer studies within an established and high demand field. Students may pursue career paths in engineering, actuarial science, database and computer systems administrators, network and data communications, secondary mathematics teaching, and other fields with strong demand. Additionally, many students with degrees in mathematics pursue graduate study in mathematics, physics, engineering, and other STEM disciplines.

Degree Options
The degree option in Mathematical Reasoning and Visualization build on IAS strengths in quantitative reasoning, logical and critical thinking, data visualization, and geographic visualization. It will support, and develop links to, teaching in Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Community Psychology, Media and Communication, Policy Studies, Global Studies, Cultural Studies, and Interdisciplinary Arts.

Graduate
The MFA in Creative Writing and Poetics will provide a broad interdisciplinary inquiry into creative writing within changing cultures and societies. This program will ask students to address the implications of what and how they write - situating their writing in relation to shifting global contexts, changing demographics and transforming forms of media. The program will include online and on-site options for hybrid delivery in the second year.

Minors
The Minor in Biomedical Technology will provide an opportunity for students to acquire skills, competencies and experiences that will enable them to pursue careers in the biotechnology, biomedical device, pharmaceutical and related industries.

The Minor in Consciousness Studies will allow students to dialogue across diverse disciplines and programs around strategies for cultivating creativity, approaching consciousness from an integral perspective and enhancing awareness of different ways of knowing.

The Minor in Physics and Astronomy will provide an opportunity for students to acquire skills, competencies and experiences enabling them to pursue careers in physics, astronomy and a variety of other sciences. Graduates with this minor will be able to skillfully perform and understand general science for use in graduate school, professional school and industry.
