Thesis Track

Students choosing to pursue the thesis track for the MSEE are required meet with a faculty advisor after the completion of their first quarter. This meeting will be to discuss potential thesis subjects, provide information on thesis requirements, and solidify their decision to pursue the thesis track.

The transcripted thesis track will require students to complete a minimum of 36 credits of coursework (including a 1 credit seminar course) as well as 10 thesis credits. The coursework of the thesis track includes 6 credits of required core courses and 10 credits of required project courses. A course counted towards meeting the project course requirement cannot be counted towards any elective requirements.
