* In their second year, students will have the opportunity to create an individualized course study through a selection of electives. Course electives will vary depending on whether students elect the program’s residency or non-residency options. Residency students will be able to develop expertise through a broad array of UW graduate courses: education, environmental studies, literature, interdisciplinary arts, cultural studies, global studies, community psychology, computer software, and human rights, among others.
