Two Ways to Use Clickers in Your Class

Purchasing Clickers and Setting Up the Clicker Registration Tool

  • Contact the campus UW Bookstore to order clickers, so that your students can purchase the clickers before the quarter begins.
  • You may also point your students to Turning Point's website to purchase the clickers online for a few dollars less. Use the University of Washington School Purchase Code: 9mF5

  • Finally, incorporate the Turning Technologies Registration Tool into the Modules section of your Canvas course site in order to allow students to register their clickers for use in your class.

Check Out Clickers from the IT Help Desk

There are 4 sets of clickers for checkout at the IT Help Desk, located in LB2-218 on the second floor of the library.

  • 3 of the 4 sets can be checked out for 2 days.
  • 1 of the 4 sets can be checked out for a week.

If you plan to use clickers in your classroom for more than 5 classes per quarter, we recommend that you have your students purchase clickers before the quarter starts and follow the instructions above.
