Online Office Suites and Apps
Google Docs is a suite of apps that allows users to create and change word documents, slideshow presentations, spreadsheets, and forms via a web interface. These items can then be downloaded, shared, and simultaneously edited which makes Google Docs a powerful collaboration tool.
Microsoft Office Live
Microsoft Office Live is a set of services that allows users to store and share document files online. Additional plugins allows users to directly work on the files from Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (assuming they have the software installed and an active internet connection), but the files cannot be edited simultaneously.
Zoho is a suite of apps that allows users to create word documents, slideshow presentations, spreadsheets, databases, wikis, notes, and a lot of other things. These documents can then be downloaded, shared, and simultaneously edited over a web interface which makes Zoho another powerful collaboration tool.
