Blogger is a free blogging service provided by Google that anybody with a Gmail / Google account may use. The interface is easy to use and designed for quick set-up. Blogger also includes many customization options such as templates as well as support for add-ons and the ability to post from your smartphone. Blogger is also integrated with other Google cloud services such as Docs which allows you to easily upload and move documents and media from one site to another.


Wordpress is another free blogging platform that is popular and easy to use. You can create a blog that is hosted directly on the Wordpress servers or if you have your own servers, you may install wordpress and host directly on your server. One of the main features of wordpress is the many add-ons that can be integrated to your blog free of charge.
