Blogs are websites that allow users to easily write up text, post pictures, add videos, and other media. Unlike a traditional website, blogs are suited for regular updates in a post/comment format and allow for multiple authors and commenters to participate.
Teaching with Blogs
Blogs are a useful tool for teaching in a number of ways.
Spur discussion on a topic before or after a class by blogging about the class.
Encourage peer interaction by having students create thier own blogs and commenting on each others blogs.
Publish blogs publicly to gather external input and feedback on work.
