UW Bothell LT Events

UW Bothell Learning Technologies offers a variety of professional development events:

  • Canvas, Coffee and Cookies - A week-long drop-in event held in LBA 204E during the first week of each quarter to ask Canvas questions, discuss teaching and learning, or just visit with our team. We may drop by your office too!
  • LT Labs - LT Labs are one-hour sessions to discuss and develop ideas on topics related to teaching, research, and technology. These sesssions may include training, demonstrations or exploration workshops. 
  • eLearning Symposium - An annual one-day event that brings the latest in pedagogical best practices in an active learning environment.
  • Global Accessibility Awareness Week - An annual, week-long event in May full of great sessions and activities to celebrate Global Accessibilty Awareness Day (GAAD), May 18. Sponsored by the UW Bothell UDAL Core Group. 2017 Full Schedule Sesion Resources
  • Online Canvas courses for faculty
    - 20 Minutes a Day / 5-day week-long courses
    - Teaching Online 2-week course
  • Other exciting events to be announced

LT Labs

The UW Bothell Learning Technologies team initiated the LT Labs series in Fall 2014. The LT Labs are one-hour sessions the purpose of which is to offer faculty and teaching staff the opportunity to discuss and workshop ideas on topics related to teaching, research, and technology. All LT Labs will be held in LB2-216 on the second floor of the library just past the IT Helpdesk.
