Host Videos in YouTube

Everyone with a UW account has access to their own YouTube environment to host and stream videos. YouTube offers an environment that streams well to most devices and it does automatic captioning too.

The captioning service is done via programmed algorithms, so depending on the environment and quality of the recording, it is not 100% accurate. Because of this, you can also edit the automatic captions or add your own to your videos.
